Get to Know Jennifer

Jennifer is the creator of The Jennifer Myers Home selling System at Re/Max Allegiance.  She has helped hundreds of home buyers and sellers over the last several years make their dream of home ownership possible.  Her forte is helping first time home buyers take advantage of the many financing programs that help them get under market interest rates or down payment assistance to make their first home purchase affordable.  Another one of her specialties is advising real estate investors on how to get their dream of gaining wealth through real estate off to a profitable start. 

Jennifer’s real estate career began in 2001 when she began her own real estate investment company, DJL Enterprises.  She has personally bought, sold, fixed up, and rented dozens of homes in the DC metro area as part of this investment company.

Before her career in real estate, Jennifer was a Senior Associate at an international public relations firm in Washington, DC.  During her tenure there, she developed and managed public policy programs for clients in the U.S, France, Hong Kong and the former Soviet Union.

She is also active in the community, helping organizations such as Miracle on 7^th Street, which reunites foster children with their parents on Christmas, Wednesday’s Child, an organization that helps find permanent homes for local foster children, and Suited for Change, a program that helps woman transition from welfare to work. And, because she believes that the opportunity to own a home should be available to everyone, she donates a portion of her commissions to the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. 

Jennifer graduated from Virginia Tech with honors, and has also studied in Germany, France, Italy, and Switzerland.  She currently lives in Arlington, VA with her Yorkshire Terrier, Cannoli.
